Link2SD - that is easy to move applications to the card in the Android 2.1
recent forum at XDA Developers contains an application that is in contrast to App2SD, easily allows you to move applications to the card (the phone is created a symbolic link, as in the Android 2.2). I do not like to dwell on, so get to the point:
Requirements:
- root (I recommend looking theme with the application z4root)
- separate ext2 partition for applications (capacity about 400-800MB)
first To unlock the root account, you must use z4root . The instructions are here .
second In order to create ext2 partition, we can use the following programs:
- MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition (for Windows)
- gparted (Linux)
should create two primary partitions, fat32 first and the second ext2.
third When the two points we have already prepared an application charge Link2SD .
- you move the phone,
- install,
- the first time you receive an ext2 mount, so you should disable the program and restart the phone,
- run the program again and move existing applications to the card
- when we move to applications after completing run phone again.
short, concise and to the point.
