Writing good quality children's books is not easy. The authors too easily treat children as little adults thumbnails developed, which in turn translates into a style and way of expressing their thoughts.
About the book "Africa Kazik" I heard a long time. What's more - in superlatives. All and sundry extolled the true description of the journey Kazimierz Nowak, the black land, and above all, simplicity in what it described (to say that so-friendly for children).
the last few nights so we read these wonderful adventures Evunia bedtime, with each Chapter increasingly reaching the conclusion that perhaps it is a good book, but .... for 4 - 5 year olds. (And we have the impression that it was written with a view to a little older readers.) Generally, no imagination, fantasy, and certainly not as interesting as it could have been. A pity, because the starting material was really good.
